With a rich 17-year tenure in various legal positions, Jette's professional journey is marked by a commitment to justice and a diverse array of judicial experiences.

Beginning his legal career as a Deputy County Attorney in Santa Cruz County, Jette's path saw him rise to the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, eventually leading to his significant role as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.

His expertise covers a wide gamut of legal areas, handling high-stakes cases involving white-collar crimes, public corruption, and violent offenses such as murder, sexual assault, human trafficking, and robbery. Jette's proficiency extends to tackling property crimes, criminal appeals, and other complex legal issues.

A standout achievement in Jette's career is his international work in Pakistan and the Philippines for the U.S. Department of Justice. He played a pivotal role in establishing prosecution offices, training prosecutors and law enforcement officials, and spearheading investigations of serious offenses like terrorism and money laundering. His work has greatly advanced international measures against financial crimes, and elevated the global position of both countries.

Jette is a well-rounded scholar with a law degree from Lewis and Clark (2001), an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management (2004), and a Master’s in International Security from the University of Arizona (2021). Jette has been acknowledged with numerous awards throughout his career, including from the FBI and DOJ.

Beyond the courtroom, Jette has significantly contributed to the legal community through education and training. He has served as a trainer and speaker for the Department of Justice, FBI, DEA, and HSI, and has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona’s College of Law and as an instructor for the Arizona State Bar. Jette's dedication to nurturing future legal minds is evident in his role as a High School Mock Trial attorney-coach and his board memberships in non-profits, such as Tucson Clean and Beautiful, the Tucson Museum of Art, and the United Way Senior Coalition.

Deeply rooted in Tucson, Jette's personal life is enriched by his 19-year marriage to Kelly, a University of Arizona professor. His strong connection to Tucson's community and its people is a testament to his dedication and love for the city.
