Biography
Mike Jette is a career federal prosecutor who spent nearly a decade as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona. He also served as Resident Legal Adviser to the United States Embassy in Pakistan, where he helped build justice systems to combat terrorism and money laundering.
Mike began his legal career as a Deputy County Attorney in Santa Cruz County, working in the felony victim unit. He rose to become Senior Litigation Counsel in the Financial Crimes Unit at the Arizona Attorney General's Office before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Throughout his career, Mike has prosecuted criminals who prey on everyday people—from elder fraud scammers who target seniors with lottery and romance scams, to corrupt public officials who abuse their positions of trust, to violent criminals including murderers, human traffickers, and drug dealers.
Mike's international work for the U.S. Department of Justice took him to Pakistan and the Philippines, where he established prosecution offices, trained prosecutors and law enforcement officials, and led investigations into terrorism financing and money laundering. His work has helped strengthen international cooperation against financial crimes.
